Adidas

One of the world's best known brands, now offering the 08 range of updated cycling apparel with new fabrics, better sizing and exciting designs. Based on the Clima system, garments have ClimaCool, ClimaProof , ClimaWarm and ClimaLite technologies offering 365 day a year riding comfort. Competitve racing, speed and comfort size fits continue with the adiStar, Response and Sport price categories. New economy lines with Sport jerseys, wind jackets and knickers. Body and Flow Mapping super lightweight garments are new concepts as are lightweight baggies. New fabrics have more odourless materials. Lots of new ladies clothing, two new shoes, the Kharma and MTB Adiva. There are more comfort, weight and technical considerations in the 07/08 shoe ranges. The Race SL and Razer Mtb shoe are new. Other models are improved or re-worked with better price points.

Campagnolo

Widespread acceptance of the new concept Ultra-Torque chainsets with Overboard Cups, Escape Ergopower, the very latest braze-on or standard changers and Skeleton brakes. 40 strong Chicken Campagnolo Display dealer outlets draw supplies from large-scale stockholdings. All ranges are 10 spd with only the Xenon remaining with a traditional chainset, albeit CT. A full range of wheelsets is available together with a wider selection of spare parts.

Cinelli

The soul of cycling since 1919. Cinelli have now restricted their handlebar and stem selection to just 4 groups â€" the Ram, Neo, Graphis and Vai, comlimented by a wide selection of bar tape options.
To the growing number of Cinelli bike outlets, some with exclusive territories, attention to detail is paramount. Performance and Style are the by-words. Dealers have the option of modules â€" that is frame, forks, bars, stems and seat post or 6 ready built, ex-stock bikes â€" 2 with colour options.
With margins of 34%, SRPs start with the Experience at £899. As with all Chicken build-ups Campagnolo, Mavic, Selle Italia, T.A. and Vredestein parts are used as standard fit. The Willin’, Estrada and women’s Little Wing bikes â€" the latter with 2 different wheel versions â€" are all new. The Cinelli Bootleg range includes the Dos Tandem and Magic Bus small wheeler folding bike.

DataTag

Working as both a deterent and a means of identification, OE and replacement market packs make bikes 60% less likely to be stolen.

EBC Brakes

EBC is about quality and choice. The range is vast but it’s a one-stop shop with 3 grades of pad often offered as alternatives â€" for X/C, D/H or arduous use. Not only are EBC pads the choice of Steve Pete; the range is continually updated. You can offer replacements for all makes and use Chicken's stock cleanse system.

KMC

The turning point in the widespread acceptance of KMC in just 18 months has been the launch of the lightest chain â€" the X-SL series. Discovered to be super-fast shifting, smoother acting and with much reduced chain-suck in field tests, dealers have been singing its praises ever since. The open inner plate construction facilitates dirt removal, the hollow pin is FlatStep riveted sealing the outer plate with 350k of pin power making it the strongest chain connection in the industry today. It is a true racing chain available in 9 and 10 speed versions.
Workshop boxes of all number of KMC chains show considerable savings over other well-known brands.All are compatible with Campagnolo or Shimano groups.

Mavic

Major changes in the MTB wheel sector with new : Crossmax SLR models for XC Racing, Crossmax ST, Crossmax SL and Crosstrail models for longer distance "Cross Mountain" also Crossmax SX for Extreme MTB and the new Crossride MTB. EX729 and EX721 rims are beefed up for Extreme Mountain use, the EN321, XM317 and XM117 rims for "Cross Mountain" wheels. The EX823 UST rim is updated. For road riders there are the Cosmic Carbon SL Premium wheels, CXP23 black, CXP22S silver rims; the A317 is for hybrid/asphalt wheels. Technical seminars will run during the show.
Some replacement rims for OE bike models are now available from Chicken.

Sapim

The FTS-X Force Transfer System - specifically developed for MTB riding with strengthened pawls for harder, longer wear â€" extends throughout the ever-improving wheel offering. All are disc compatible within any given range, supplied with UST valves. The 08 line-up offers dealers better margins in a more controlled marketplace, better service with a fully functional MSC offering tech clinics and wheels par excellence. The Crossmax ST and ST lefty and the C29ssmax Disc are new for MTB. 100 Mavic dealers have been chosen by Chicken to run a Test Centre Scheme with the revolutionary TraComp technology R-Sys road wheels. The new price list gives SRPs for the new Cosmic Carbone Ultimate and Ksyrium SL Premium wheels, together with updates on the improved Ksyrium Elite/Equipe and Aksium models. The TN719 Disc for 29â€� riders joins the reference Enduro rim â€" the EN521 Disc. The Wintech computer range is extended with an ingenious E-Bolt speed sensor and an Alti altitude and height sensor.

After 75 years of pump production, 2008 sees some novel ideas like integrated pressure gauges on mini pumps, a 39g Thinskin fibre re-inforced plastic pump and an EVA (Easy Valve Access) connector.Extra volume per stroke is achieved on many existing models. Specialists T.A. introduce Squale rings with shark fin design for 10x Shimano road.A Squale spider is offered for the Carmina crank to match these rings. New moulds assure customers completely watertight, personalised bottles.

Tifosi

The Tifosi bike range now comprises the Audax/ training CK7 in a choice of 2 colours and the CK3 Sports model. As with all Chicken build-ups Datatag security is available. Build kits for all Chicken or any other frameset or frame modules are available. There are 4 kits available each comprising quality known-brand components. Tifosi padded bike bags are now slightly larger to also suit d/h bikes.

Time

The Time off-road pedal, scarcely changed in 10 years of great racing achievement, is now joined by three Roc ATAC models. These are primarily aimed at a younger, less experienced market. Ranging from a carbon body at £69.99 to a standard £44.99 pair they all offer Bio Performance angular and lateral float - hallmarks of Time's success.
