Saddleback Brands

Arundel

Arundel cycling accessories.
The goal of the Arundel Bike Company (as grandiose as it is…) is simple: come up with some cool bike equipment that people want to buy.

BONT

Founded in 1975, Bont began when Inze Bont, a recreational skater decided to fiberglass the back of his leather skates to gain extra support. A simple, yet innovative approach which started a company now in its 36th year, with product ranges across two highly competitive sports and sales across 56 countries.

Castelli

Castelli has always represented the finest in Italian quality and performance cycling clothing. Castelli traces its roots back to a fine tailor (Vittore Gianni) in the heart of Milan, founded in 1876. The first cycling clothing was made in the 1910s for world champion Alfredo Binda then later Fausto Coppi and many of the stars through cycling’s golden age.

The Castelli brand has introduced a series of firsts in cycling clothing: the first Lycra shorts used in racing and sold to the public, the first colored shorts, the first sublimation printed jerseys, the first synthetic winter clothing, the first use of windproof membranes, the first hydrophylic fabric treatments, the first anatomic seatpad, the lightest jersey ever produ- ced, and the most aerodynamic jersey ever produced.

Today Maurizio Castelli’s vision is the driving force in the company: to create the most innovative clothing for the cyclist seeking maximum performance. Castelli, based in northeastern Italy, is sold in 39 countries throughout the world.

CeramicSpeed

In 2000, founder and managing director of CeramicSpeed, Jacob Csizmadia, introduced ceramic bearings to professional cycling for the first time. During the 2001 Tour de France
Jacob spent three weeks with Team CSC optimising their equipment with ceramic bearings in their bottom brackets, hubs and pulley wheels. In the 2009 Tour de France 40% of riders in the peloton were on bikes equipped with CeramicSpeed bearings. CeramicSpeed products are
hand assembled in Denmark.

Chris King

The company has gradually grown into a highly reputable European brand by focussing on innovation, investing in technology and employing a distinctive marketing strategy. Products bearing the Vredestein name not only look good… They are always among the best in their category.
