Core will have the MDs from all of the Distributors on site, plus several key personnel from International brands flying in from Canada, the USA and Europe.
This is YOUR opportunity to talk directly to these people, to tell them what you like and what you don't, and to help to find ways to drive your business forward.
Put simply, Core Bike is the easiest, friendliest and most cost effective way of allowing IBDs the opportunity to see a large amount of brands and distributors without wasting time and money away from the shop visiting single supplier shows.
Core Bike Show grows organically...
6 years ago a small collection of 6 Independent distributors and manufacturers of quality bicycle products got together to create a special type of DEALER only bike show.
They teamed up because there was no other trade show that sufficiently catered to the needs of today's Independent Bike Dealers. Rather than each of them hosting their own 'in-house' show, the Core Bike group recognised that dealers wanted more suppliers in a single location and that they were not happy attending "....countless single supplier shows". The Core Bike concept was born...
The show has grown gradually since its inception as more quality distributors and service providers have joined the show. Core Bike 2010 sees 17 quality exhibitor's covering well over 150 top cycling brands. This year we welcome back Jim Walker, Citrus Lime and Merida bikes, plus we welcome for the first time, Cordee Ltd, a specilist in adventure sports publications and SealSkinz, maker of waterproof hats, socks and gloves.
Core Bike continues to combine the personal time and attention from suppliers that you might receive at a single supplier show, but with an unprecedented selection of the UK's top bicycle and P&A brands at one nationally central location. It is undoubtedly the one bicycle trade show that you cannot afford to miss.
The Venue
For 2010 the Core Bike Show returns to the prestigious Whittlebury Hall (near Silverstone). www.whittleburyhall.co.uk
Confirmed dates are the 24th, 25th and 26th January 2010.
Whittlebury Hall is a luxury four-star hotel, with fantastic exhibition rooms and a magnificent award winning spa. Set in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside it nestles alongside the world famous Silverstone race circuit - it is an absolute doddle to find, and a pleasure to stay in.
We have negotiated special rates for overnight stays including evening dinner and breakfast. The food is absolutely fantastic and it is well worth making your visit an overnight one so you can spend a full day at Core Bike, and enjoy some quality food and wine in the evening.

Core Bike has also negotiated significantly reduced rates at the adjacent Spa complex - so you can pamper your partner (or even yourself!) whilst at the show, and this is also the ideal way to wind down after a day schmoozing with the industry and talking shop. If the Spa sounds far too relaxing - there is obviously a bar to cater for your other needs!
Fun and Games
New in 2008 and repeated in 2009, and a whole lot of fun, was the Core Bike Gala Evening. Held in the exclusive Brooklands suite, anyone who stayed over on the night had a real treat in store.
An alternative is being run for 2010 with entertainment on both Sunday 24th and Monday 25th January.

We are to be joind on the 24th January by Italy's favourite comedian, Mario De Niro. Since bursting onto the scene on the stage of the Vatican Comedy Store twelve years ago, his glitteing career has been highlighted by scooping the Italian Comedian of the Year Award for the last ten years on the trot, fronting his own award-winning TV series 'Bravo De Niro', being voted Comedy's Best Dressed Man and the distinction of being the Pope's favourite comedian:
"The funniest guy I've seen since Eddie Murphy!"
His Holiness, (The Late) Pope John Paul II
Having performed the world's largest comedy gig at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, where he was onstage for a record eight and a half hours, played the lead in the critically acclaimed stand up comedy based opera 'La Travi-ah-ha' and united Sicily's largest rival mafia families at the town's inaugural 'Say No To Organised Crime Day', he is arguably his country's most famous and popular celebrity:
"Stick the singing!" I'd like to come back as Mario De Niro"
Luciano Pavarotti
Indeed his contribution to his country will be soon reciprocated as plans are already underway to replace Michelangelo's statue of David, now considered dated and over exposed, with a recently commissioned 20ft statue of Mario De Niro.
It's amazing that this living legend remains relatively unheard of outside Italy...
